ONLINE ENTRIES OPEN SOON!
New for 2018, the Yorkshire 100 sportive will take you on a circular route from the outskirts of the historic city of York, through the fairly flat Vale of York and into the hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. Enjoy some lovely Yorkshire scenery as you cycle along mainly quiet roads and pass through picturesque villages, with amazing views from the top of the Wolds.
Threes routes are planned - the longest at just over 100 miles - will suit the more experienced rider, whilst the two shorter routes will appeal to the novice and less experienced cyclist. (The routes are currently being finalised and info will be available soon).
All routes will be fully signed and will have well stocked FREE feed stations, along with mechanical and medical support and, of course, a broom wagon. At the finish line you will receive a well earned medal and a quality goody bag.
The event is being organised by the RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch, so by taking part in this ride you will be helping the many animals in the care of the RSPCA York Animals Home - animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned or were simply no longer wanted. There is no obligation to raise sponsorship, fundraise or make a donation - although any such monies will be very much appreciated.
We are planning various activities at the finish venue to help keep your supporters entertained whilst you ride as well as giving you the chance to relax after your efforts.
Entry will be via the British Cycling website - details will be available soon
